Based in: Walpole, MA
Overview:
- Gaston Electrical is searching for a Full Time Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team in Walpole, MA. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Load & Unload Gaston’s truck/vehicle(s) for each day’s rounds.
- Unloads/Sorts/Verifies/Stores all deliveries including UPS/FED EX/Freight and any jobsite cleanouts.
- Inspect all received material for possible damage during shipping and report any damaged material to Supervisor.
- Identify incoming material to the corresponding job and report to supervisor.
- Complete all paperwork and documentation in accordance with established guidelines.
- Assist with company tool fleet management including inspecting all tool returns for damage and tracking per job.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis.
- Abide by all the company safety and regulation policies.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs or more with the assistance of warehouse equipment.
- Fill in when a driver is on vacation or out sick.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be computer proficient.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and work well with others
- Background working with trades (i.e. Electrical, HVAC, etc.) desirable
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- Possess forklift certification or be able to quickly obtain certification.
